The Management of ZAM MIX is committed to the health, safety, and general WellCare of its employees; and extends this commitment to ensuring that our operations do not place our visitors and members of the local communities in which we are working at risk of injury, illness, or property damage. Accordingly, we ensure full compliance with all applicable Health & Safety Regulations and current Industry Standards by:




- Providing and maintaining a healthy and safe work environmentPrevent injury and ill health - Developing, promoting, and implementing Occupational Health and Safety policies and procedures
- Continually improve the OH&S Management system and OH&S performance - Ensuring that nominated Occupational Health and Safety personnel are adequately trained and supported
- Comply with legal and other applicable OH&S requirements - Providing company personnel with protective equipment
- Establish OH&S objectives at appropriate levels in the company, whereby performance may be monitored and targets may be updated in line with ongoing improvement strategy - All ZAM MIX employees are obliged to: Take strict precautions to ensure their own health and safety and that of their co-workers by adhering to documented Occupational Health and Safety policies and procedures
- Communicate OH&S obligations to all employees working under the control of the company - Immediately report all observed hazards and potential health and safety risks to the nominated Occupational Health and Safety representatives
- Providing and maintaining a healthy and safe work environment


This Policy is applicable to all operations and functions of ZAM MIX Concrete Company; including those where business activities are taking place off site. It is equally applicable to contractors and suppliers operating in the company's premises.

Occupational Safety & Health Administration

At ZAM MIX safety personnel, managers and supervisors of each plant undergo SHA training courses followed by refreshment courses on a yearly basis. Most of our health and safety standards are aligned with the international OSHA guidelines. Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point HACCP is a system that helps food business operators look at how they handle food and introduces procedures to make sure the food produced is safe to eat, as the health is a part of the HSE department so the HACCP system have been applied within all of ZAM MIX kitchens to assure the safety and the quality of the food served to the employees.
